Day 01
Arusha
Arrive at
Kilimanjaro International Airport and after clearing customs and immigration
formalities, you will be met by our representative and transferred to Arusha.
Overnight on
Bed & Breakfast at Impala Hotel.
Day 02 Arusha – Tarangire National Park
After
breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park arriving in time for lunch and an
afternoon of game viewing.
Lesser kudu,
eland, lion and gerenuk can be found in this beautiful park, noted for its
multitude of baobab trees and its tree-climbing lions.
Dinner and
overnight at Tarangire Sopa Lodge.
Day 03 Tarangire – Ngorongoro Conservation
Area
After breakfast,
drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Lunch at the
lodge.
This
afternoon, you will descend 2000 feet (over 600 meters) to the floor of the
crater for a day crater tour with picnic lunches.
Explore the
forest areas that are inhabited by monkeys and elephants, the lake area, where
you may see the flamingos and the open savannah where the lions hunt for food.
Dinner and
overnight at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge.
Day 04 Ngorongoro – Serengeti National Park
Drive to
Serengeti National Park via Olduvai Gorge, the site of Louis and Mary Leakey’s
renowned archaeological discoveries.
Their findings
include some of the man’s earliest known ancestral remains.
Lunch at Serengeti Serena Lodge.
You will have
an afternoon game drive in the endless plains of the Serengeti for a chance to
see the great herds of wildebeest, zebras and gazelles or a pride of lions
lounging in the shade.
Dinner and
overnight at the lodge.
Day 05 & 06 Serengeti National Park
Two full days
of game viewing in the Serengeti.
Meals and
overnight at Serengeti Serena Lodge.
Day 07
Serengeti – Lake Manyara National Park
Enjoy an early
morning game drive, before breakfast. Return to the lodge for late breakfast.
Enjoy a mid
morning and then depart to Ngorongoro Highlands.
Lunch at Gibbs
Farm or similar.
Afternoon
visit to the waterfalls.
Dinner and
overnight Lake Manyara Serena Lodge.
Day 08 Lake Manyara – Arusha – Amboseli
After
breakfast, depart for Arusha for lunch before drop off at Namanga, the
Kenya/Tanzania border.
You will be met by a Kenyan driver guide for onward journey to Amboseli National Park.
Game drives in the park.
Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Serena Lodge.
Day 09 Amboseli National Park
Early morning game drive returning to the lodge for breakfast.
Morning at leisure.
Lunch at the lodge.
Afternoon game drive.
Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Serena Lodge.
Day 10 Amboseli – Lake Nakuru National Park
Breakfast at the lodge.
Depart Amboseli National Park for Lake Nakuru National Park via Nairobi city.
Arrival at Lion Hill Lodge in time for lunch.
Afternoon game drive.
Dinner and overnight at Lion Hill Lodge
Early morning game drive before returning to the lodge for a full buffet breakfast.
After breakfast drive to Masai Mara National Reserve arriving in time for lunch at Mara Sarova Tented Camp.
Afternoon game drive.
Dinner and overnight at Mara Sarova Tented Camp.
Day 12 Masai Mara National Reserve
Full day in Masai Mara with morning and afternoon and afternoon game drives.
All meals and overnight at Mara Sarova Tented Camp.
Day 13 Masai Mara National Reserve – Nairobi
Early morning game drive.
Return to the lodge for a full buffet breakfast before departure for Nairobi city.
Lunch at Karen Tamambo Restaurant, city tour and drop off at Stanley Hotel.
Dinner on own arrangement.
Day 14 Departure
Breakfast at the hotel.
Pick up and drop off at JKIA to catch your international flight.
